SZÚZ operates the website akce.szuz.cz, which is used to promote professional events and to register participants.

2. Personal Data We Process

Within registration forms, we may process the following personal data:

  • first name and last name,
  • e-mail address and telephone number,
  • organisation name and job position,
  • invoicing details (Company ID, VAT ID, address),
  • optional data related to event organisation (e.g. dietary requirements).

The website akce.szuz.cz does not collect any personal data unless the user submits a form.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We process personal data solely for the following purposes:

3.1 Event Registration

  • registration records,
  • confirmation of participation and delivery of organisational information.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract.

3.2 Accounting and Tax Obligations

  • issuing invoices and tax documents,
  • accounting records.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

3.3 Event Organisation and Follow-up Communication

  • sending important information related to the event, programme changes, satisfaction surveys, etc.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR – performance of a contract and legitimate interest.

3.4 SZÚZ Marketing (Optional, Subject to Participant’s Consent)

  • sending invitations to future professional events.

Legal basis: consent of the participant (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Consent may be withdrawn at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email footer or by contacting info@szuz.cz.

4. Data Retention Period

Personal data are stored:

  • for the duration of the event and subsequently for five (5) years for accounting and record-keeping purposes,
  • for marketing communication purposes until consent is withdrawn.

After that, the data are securely deleted or anonymised.

5. Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data may be disclosed only to:

  • contracted accounting service providers,
  • IT service providers (website administrators),
  • e-mailing service providers (e.g. newsletters).

All such entities are bound by confidentiality obligations and data processing agreements in accordance with GDPR.
Personal data are not transferred to third parties for marketing purposes nor outside the European Union.

6. Cookies

The website akce.szuz.cz uses only technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the website and the submission of forms.
We do not use marketing or analytical cookies (e.g. Google Analytics).

Should this change, a cookie banner compliant with GDPR and ePrivacy legislation will be implemented on the website.

7. Photographs and Video Recordings at Events

Photographs and video recordings may be taken at professional events for the purpose of documenting and promoting the activities of SZÚZ.

Participants may object to the publication of their likeness at any time, either directly at the event or by email.

8. Rights of the Data Subject

Participants have the right to:

  • access their personal data,
  • rectification of inaccurate data,
  • erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
  • restriction of processing,
  • data portability,
  • objection to processing,
  • withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent).
