The company KVĚT was founded in 1990. Just after the Velvet Revolution, it was founded by the husband-and-wife team of Jana and Jiří Vrbas, classmates from the Faculty of Horticulture at Mendel University in Lednice, majoring in garden architecture. And there was also something to build on. Grandfather Pavel Nohel grew and propagated fruit trees already in the 1930s in a nursery on several hectares. And mother, Mrs. Olga Vrbasová, worked for many years as an orchard manager. The history continues, and a few years ago another Lednice college student, son Filip and his wife Nikol, joined the company as the 4th generation of gardeners.
